Yes I'm here

[super-nerd]
This most people know, or need to:
27MHz - All radios, including broadcasting
40MHz - Surface Only
35Mhz - Aircraft Only

27MHz and 40MHz are normally AM (Amplitude moderation)
35MHz is normally FM (frequency Moderation)
Futaba started using 40MHz FM for their "Synthesized" Radio setups, which effectively does the same job as 2.4GHz, however they weren't quick enough to get it on sale, and 2.4GHz took over. They were also doing the same for 35MHz, but again, never really took off.

Nowadays, the only 40MHz FM systems are basic 4-channel, possibly 6, but for things like Tamiya Tanks, Lorries or maybe robots

Any other questions, please ask
